You Are:

A talented application PolicyCenter GWCP Migration Architect with deep knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite application solutions. You will be able to lead the development team responsible to prepare existing implementations for deployment on Guidewire Cloud Platform. You're skilled in all aspects of GWCP migrations, from design and configuration to customization and support after the solution goes live. You enjoy working with people with all different skill sets, and you have a flair for negotiating and gaining consensus in a fast-paced environment. You're a master at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Planning and strategizing come easily to you, and you have a take-charge approach to seeing tasks through to completion.

The Work:
  • Lead a team of InsuranceSuite developers through the migration of on-prem and Cloud Classic implementations to GWCP
  • Estimate development work to transition customer implementation to GWC
  • Work with implementation team to identify and document user stories and dependencies
  • Mentor team members on details and technical requirements for successful GWCP migration
  • Architect and develop solutions to migrate to GWC
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst to enable documented requirements
  • Work in the global delivery model and provide technical knowledge to software development team across different geographies
  • Work in a fast-paced Agile (Scrum/SAFe) and multiple stakeholder environment
  • Work with Requirements Manager, Scrum Master, Program Manager, etc. for various project activities

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

What You Need:
  • Minimum of 7 Years experience with Insurance
  • Minimum of 5 plus years with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in migrating customer implementations to GWCP.
  • Minimum of 2 Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter implementations, including one with Guidewire Cloud
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with resolving cloud update backlog items, updating queries and code for performance, and modifying integrations for GWCP
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with working on Cloud APIs, Guidewire data dictionary, Product design, underwriting rules etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent (minimum 6-year working experience)

Bonus Points:
  • Experience in leading a team of InsuranceSuite developers
  • Guidewire Certified Ace Integration or Configuration
  • Guidewire Digital certification
  • Previous Agile experience
  • Agile certification such as Scrum/ SAFe etc.
  • Experience using tools like Confluence, Jira, Rally, Microsoft Office suite, Visio and the ability to query SQL DB and analyze results.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
