Overview

Our Compliance Technology teams are responsible for delivering solutions which will automate business workflows, improve data quality, and enhance reporting for the Compliance function. You'll be an integral part of the Bank's technology infrastructure, guiding the Compliance Technology team and playing vital role in protecting organisation data. By actively engaging with the team, you will enable responsible for the overall implementation of security cloud architecture in the compliance division. You'll need to have a blend of security, engineering, and cloud skills, and a passion for cloud security. Deutsche Bank is investing heavily in technology, which means we are investing in you.

What You'll Do
  • Provide expertise in implementation of data ingestion pipeline using Global Control Programme (GCP) native managed services
  • Develop applications with relational and non-relational databases in Cloud with billions of records (structured & unstructured data)
  • Be Involved in cloud migration projects and provide Subject Matter Experts (SME) on data platform modernization
  • Implement the best data engineering practices defined by the enterprise architects
  • Contribute towards best data engineering standards and practices
  • Review the implementation for the applications within the division

Skills You'll Need
  • Experience with information security, engineering, development, and public cloud technologies
  • Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (data services and capabilities)
  • Exposure to current development techniques (such as agile, continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) (CI/CD) pipelines, Terraform), exposure and hands on knowledge with Data Warehouse / Data Lake solutions both on premise and in cloud
  • Experience of GCP services mainly BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, DataFusion, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer etc. and BigQuery optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with programming languages - Python or Java (required for creation of data pipeline)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Google Cloud Certified Professional - Cloud Data Engineer Certification (Preferable)
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Teamwork abilities: The Cloud Security Engineer is expected to work with various multi-disciplinary teams, so it is vital that they are team-oriented individuals with priority on the successful completion of team goals

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
