Vice President U.S. Banks Affiliate Vendor Program Management

Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm that conducts its business through three principal business segments-Institutional Securities, Wealth Management, and Asset Management. The Vice President position is with Morgan Stanley Bank, NA and Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (US Banks) on the US Banks Inter-Affiliate Team.
The Affiliate Team Vice President position is responsible for supporting the US Banks' Internal Affiliate program and reports into a US Banks' Affiliate Program Management Officer. The program's framework includes the following areas of responsibility:
• Ensure key regulatory guidance and requirements, particularly Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Bulletin on Third Party Relationships and Regulation W, are adhered to for the Banks' Affiliate Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with stakeholders related to the internal Affiliate management program
• Actively partner across organizations in the implementation of enhancements and sustainability of the Affiliate Workflow tool for support with enhancing current manual processe
• Lead discussions with stakeholders in support of oversight of internal Affiliate lifecycle management, including agreement creation with appropriate process level descriptions, cost and service levels, periodic risk monitoring, and contract termination
• Collaborate with Business Continuity Management (BCM) Team to ensure appropriate alignment of processes in SLAs and associated applicable Business Impact Analysis.
• Complete ongoing affiliate SLA Criticality Assessments with stakeholder
• Partner with, and leverage, Firm-wide monitoring groups and tools to oversee Affiliate Management activities conducted by employees of US Banks' affiliates or through the services of external third partie
• Provide oversight and training to ensure adherence to the Banks' Inter-Affiliate Management Policies and Procedure
• Prepare and present results of monitoring assessments, identified and remediation operational risks, and escalation of issues to senior bank management
Qualifications:
Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Vendor Management, Affiliate Management, Operational Risk Management, and/or Regulation W.
• Experience in a Bank with knowledge of US Banking regulation
• 8+ years of experience with proven ability in leading dynamic team
• Ability to chair meetings with senior management and communicate across a matrixed organization
• Strong organizational, project management and reporting skill
• Ability to work both independently and with team members, under tight deadlines.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
