Job Description

The Associate or Assistant Vice President, Investor Services, will be responsible for supporting the Private Wealth Investor Relations Team to successfully execute client service initiatives. The Associate or Assistant Vice President must become a specialist in both the firm's organizational structure as well as its products and strategies. The Associate or Assistant Vice President will be responsible for interacting with private wealth clients and coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams and departments, interacting with all levels of the organization. The successful candidate must be resourceful, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, have a strong ability to problem-solve, multi-task and be a team player. The role will report to the Vice President.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution of key investor servicing initiatives
  • Coordinate across multiple groups within the firm to ensure consistent, proactive, timely, professional and accurate investor interactions
  • Assist in implementing standardized investor servicing protocols across the firm to provide a high-quality, consistent investor experience
  • Communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a knowledgeable, clear and professional fashion
  • Manage relationships and liaise with third party service providers and Brookfield and Oaktree funds teams related to private wealth activities
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries from investors and wealth advisors regarding account maintenance, periodic fund performance updates and requests for investor materials


Qualifications & Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: investor servicing, investor relations, client service, accounting, fund operations, fund accounting, fund administration
  • CPA, CA, CFA, CAIA, or progress towards one of these designations
  • Experience working with private funds and/or public securities; knowledge of real estate, infrastructure and/or private equity preferred
  • Team player who demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast paced, global environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle pressure effectively to successfully manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of work product and adhering to stringent deadlines
  • Experience working with third party service providers including administrators, custodians, auditors, and transfer agents is an asset
