We are looking for a high-performing, full-time Head of Finance to join our team! The primary role of the Head of Finance is to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing financial performance, forecasting, evaluating risks/investments, guiding decisions and diligence related to raising capital, budgeting, and helping make decisions with the leadership team.

We are looking for a high-performing, full-time Head of Finance to join our team! The primary role of the Head of Finance is to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company's financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing financial performance, forecasting, evaluating risks/investments, guiding decisions and diligence related to raising capital, budgeting, and helping make decisions with the leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies and policies that strengthen the business' financial position
- Build, maintain and improve models that plan, measure and forecast business performance
- Play a pivotal role in any fundraising and other capital raising activities
- Work closely with our external finance/accounting partners to prepare reports and help leadership make the best decisions
- Drive budgeting and planning for the company.
- Make recommendations for how the company might operate more effectively.
- Analyze trends to reduce risks associated with making investments or spending decisions
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant experience Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Economics with knowledge of Accounting principles
- Experience building financial models along with strong analytical skills
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Python, etc.
- Experience with venture capital fundraising.
- Understanding of fiscal policy and investment regulations.
- Exposure to finances for both a fast-growing software company, as well as larger organizations.
- High proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- SQL knowledge is a plus. Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate complex topics in straightforward, actionable terms.
