Our Digital Assurance and Transparency practice (DAT) is at the forefront of innovation, supporting both delivery of quality, tech-enabled solutions focused on trust and transparency and value-add growth in business and social issues that are top of mind with our clients. You'll work closely with clients, your Digital Assurance and Transparency team, and our external audit teams to understand the systems and technologies our clients use and how they can mitigate risk. As a Digital Assurance and Transparency professional, you'll be part of an organization with a focus on quality, value, innovation, emerging technologies (e.g. cloud, digital assets), and growth and gain experience across several of our specialized areas of focus throughout your career.

The salary range for this position is: $82,500 - $291,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. - Possess extensive knowledge of revenue recognition principles and accounting standards, including ASC 606/IFRS 15;
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of business processes, systems, and controls related to revenue recognition;
- Have experience cross-functional projects or initiatives, with a proven track record of successful implementations;
- Show extensive analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, identify solutions, and make recommendations;
- Possess the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Demonstrate extensive interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with client stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Possess attention to detail and extensive organization, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Possess experience working in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint. Additionally, Revenue Management systems (e.g., Oracle RMCS, Zuora Revenue), Alteryx, SQL, Microsoft Visio;
- Lead the implementation of revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606/IFRS 15) across the organization, including assessing impacts, developing implementation plans, and executing implementation activities;
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, Legal, Sales, and Operations, to establish alignment and coordination in implementing revenue recognition standards;
- Conduct detailed reviews of existing revenue recognition processes, data and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement;
- Conduct detailed workshops with the business and IT team to understand the revenue arrangements, and complete data and system use cases for representative revenue arrangements;
- Work with the business and IT team to prepare the detailed requirements including accounting, data and system, and conduct the fit/gap analysis, and vendor selection;
- Work with the business and IT team to prepare the data conversion strategy, reporting strategy and detailed implementation plan;
- Work with the business and IT team to prepare the functional and technical design documentation, and work with the vendor to complete the configuration/build;
- Prepare the test strategy, test instances, test plan, test cases, and test procedure;
- Work with the testers to complete the unit testing, functional testing, mock testing, system integration testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing;
- Design and assess the effectiveness of revenue recognition processes and controls, and recommend enhancements or corrective actions as needed, and,
- Support external audit activities related to revenue recognition, including providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed.
