The Senior Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting market research and consumer research.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and Analyze Housing Market Trends: Utilize advanced analytics tools and methodologies to track and analyze housing market trends, including pricing, demand, and competition, to support data-driven business strategy development.
- Competitor Activity and Market Positioning Assessment: Employ and design competitive intelligence software to assess competitor activity and market positioning, identify opportunities, and evaluate investment potential and associated risks.
- Conduct Comprehensive Research: Execute complex qualitative and quantitative research using statistical software and data modeling techniques to generate actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.
- Support Land Evaluation and Acquisition: Analyze potential land acquisitions using geospatial analysis tools, financial modeling software, and market data to assess profitability and ensure alignment of long-term strategic goals.
- Interpret and Analyze Complex Data Sets: Leverage data analytics platforms and work with the Enterprise Data Analytics Platform team to interpret large, complex data sets and translate findings into clear, concise, actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Develop and Deliver Presentations: Create and deliver data-driven presentations using visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate insights and strategic recommendations to senior-level stakeholders effectively.
- Leverage Technologyand SoftwareTools:Implement and manage advanced technology solutions, including data integration platforms and analytics software, to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
- Identify and Collect New Data Points: Continuously seek out and integrate new data sources and variables, enhancing existing reporting capabilities and supporting more comprehensive and accurate business intelligence.

Position Requirements:
- A higher-level degree in IT, business, or a related field is required; an advanced degree with a strong background in research and analysis is preferred.
- Extensive experience working with internal stakeholders to deliver actionable insights based on qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Proven experience in utilizing business intelligence tools to create new reports, solve problems, and automate reporting processes.
- A keen interest in the domestic real-estate market, macro and micro-economics, and business analytics is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interpret and present data in a digestible manner to influence senior-level stakeholders and colleagues.
