About the Role
We're looking for a high-velocity, doesn't-take-no-for-an-answer Account Executive to join our growing sales organization in New York City. This role will research, identify, and close new clients through self-generated and inbound leads. You will work alongside Rho leaders to bring Rho's differentiated technology to startup clients.

Our people are our most valuable asset. The budgeted base salary for this role is $75,000-$90,000 with an OTE of $105,000-$150,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.

About the Role
We're looking for a high-velocity, doesn't-take-no-for-an-answer Account Executive to join our growing sales organization in New York City. This role will research, identify, and close new clients through self-generated and inbound leads. You will work alongside Rho leaders to bring Rho's differentiated technology to startup clients.
Responsibilities
- Generate & close new business opportunities by identifying and prospecting potential startup businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to maximize account retention and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and potential target clients for effective business development strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Product, Client Success, and Sales Development, to educate the team on banking products and align them with the specific needs and preferences of middle-market businesses.
- Foster strong collaboration with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle from initial client engagement through to deal closure and onboarding new clients, while ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
- Actively participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to expand professional networks, enhance the organization's visibility, and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of closing experience as a full-cycle sales professional in a high velocity or startup environment; B2B sales preferred
- B2B sales background with track record of selling to SMBs/Middle-Market (company revenues $20m+)
- Understands how to sell into traditional and non-traditional companies
- Experience working in complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders that are part of the C-Suite
- A passion for networking, building relationships, and being part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with sales tools including Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Interview Process
- Stage 1: Interview with Recruiting - 30-minute video interview
- Stage 2: Hiring Manager Interview - 30-minute video interview
- Stage 3: On-site interviews - In-person interviews with members of the sales team and cross-functional teams
- Stage 4: Final interview with our Chief Revenue Officer - 30-minute video interview
