Job Overview
The Product Manager (PM) reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications of High Purity New England (HPNE) and provides business and sales support for the assigned product category and region. The PM is responsible for planning and implementing the marketing strategy for the assigned product portfolio; analyzing all the variables linked to the market and to actively support the sales force. The position also supports the development and implementation of short and long-term business plans for specified products to achieve sales and profit targets.
The PM will work with respective cross functional colleagues to achieve yearly order intake, sales and gross profit targets. Development of overall strategy and long-term plans for the specific markets to achieve HPNE goals and key initiatives. This role includes assisting the Director to deploy the commercial strategy defined by the business, ensuring sales and service functions align accordingly.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Responsible for the commercialization of new and existing products within their respective portfolio as well as any third-party or distributed products related to the specific product line.
- In close cooperation with Engineering (Research and Development), enable sales and align marketing strategies with the business area defined strategy.
- Monitor competitors and market activities and prepare adequate analysis and reports and prepare the market view.
- Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends and competitor's activities to identify market opportunities in cooperation with the related product line referents.
- Adjust the marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Enable, support and maximize sales functions to grow market share in selecting potential customers of the assigned business and respective product area.
- Support sales functions through customer visits - including product and business presentations to current and target customers.
- Collaborate with Engineering (Research and Development) function to share voice of customer (VOC) feedback and report/inform market requirements, important trends and competitive information.
- Support sales and distributors at customer meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences. Including: product support, trials, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Analyze sales volumes to identify initiatives to enhance sales capacity and sales effectiveness.
- Work with Sales to help with operating forecast and pricing strategy for assigned product line and region.
- Develop, manage and update market plans and market status for each assigned product category and region.
- Coordinate projects with after sales and be responsible for the project brief handover from the markets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the biopharma and/or bioprocessing industries with a solid knowledge of single use assemblies.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in product management.
