The Role in Brief:
Accounts Receivable Manager
The Accounts Receivable Manager will manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Company's customer collections process through the design, implementation, maintenance and management of accounts receivable business functions, including collections, loss mitigation, and dispute resolution. EAB seeks someone with strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills to support the Controller with meeting the Company's cash collections goals. The Accounts Receivable Manager will also support data migration efforts and other projects for our growing business.
This position is in Richmond, VA or Washington, DC.

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute collections strategies that optimize resource utilization, internal and external customer relationships and drive results
- Set objectives for the accounts receivable team that align with the Company's financial targets
- Develop and produce month-end accounts receivable reports supporting the executive financial package
- Analyze and monitor accounts receivable metrics providing insight into customer payment behaviors
- Manage the performance of a team of Specialists, Senior Specialists and Supervisors, providing timely feedback and following EAB's Management Expectations
- Negotiate with clients regarding non-payment issues
- Address escalated customer communication in a professional manner
- Continuously ensure adherence to and documentation of key internal controls
- Ensure accounts receivable and collection policies, procedures, and practices are implemented and adhered to
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Bachelor's Degree
- High level of customer service
- Ability to accurately process and analyze numerical data
- Team management and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for accounts receivable transactions and activities
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take initiative on projects and handle customer service interactions
- Proven experience managing multiple, competing priorities
- Intermediate Excel skills
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with NetSuite and familiarity with Salesforce reporting and views
