Job Function Summary

This role will provide Compliance coverage to the Fixed Income & Commodities ("FIC") Business and Infrastructure groups in the United States, operating in close partnership with the existing Compliance teams globally as well as the Global FIC Business Management team, and the various FIC Portfolio Managers.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Provide on desk Compliance coverage for all Americas based FIC Portfolio Manager Teams.
  • Provide Compliance coverage for relevant regulatory examinations, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and internal and external audits and inspections
  • Provide support for reviewing of position limits
  • Track relevant regulatory developments
  • Provide new hire, annual and ad hoc training as required (some travel involved)
  • Participate in working groups and projects as needed
  • Provide support with regulatory reporting as required.
  • Provide support reviewing disclosures and personal trading pre-approval requests


Qualifications/Skills Required
  • Law degree and legal background is preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of Commodities and/or Fixed Income
  • Strong regulatory background in Global markets
  • Comprehensive understanding of and experience working with the rules and regulations and compliance processes and systems
  • Quick learner, Detail oriented; Demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
  • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; High sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.


The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
