Kilpatrick, a large international law firm, is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst for our Billing Department in our Atlanta, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Washington DC or New York office. This position will be part of our team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will have responsibility for aspects of client billing and revenue services and work very closely with the Billing Attorneys (BATTYs). This role will manage revenue cycle related activities for assigned BATTYs and / or clients. They will participate in continuous improvement activities with peer positions to optimize revenue cycle workflow and reduce the time investment of assigned BATTYs in these administrative tasks.

This is a full-time, regular position with a multi-faceted health benefit package including medical, dental, and vision. The firm offers hybrid work schedules combining in office work days as well as remote work days. The pay range for this position in Atlanta only is $42.92 to $64.35 per hour; in North Carolina only is $40.71 to $61.12 per hour; and in Washington DC and New York only is $51.38 to $77.12 per hour.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Act as point of contact for BATTYs for all client related billing questions related to the revenue cycle.
- Collaborate with intersecting teams and roles (e.g., Legal Practice Specialists, Client Managers, Conflicts, New Business Intake, Pricing, Billing, Collections, AR and AP, etc.) to ensure revenue cycle processes are running accurately and efficiently in order to reduce the amount of time BATTYs spend on opening new matters and working with various departments to ensure all necessary client information is provided.
- Support matter opening through coordinating new matter requests for relevant clients and matters and respond to questions regarding NBI (including follow-ups to clients for missing/additional information).
- Coordinate with BATTYs, LPSs, NBI team, and Billing/eBilling team to set up billing-related information from intake with codes and structures.
- Conduct high-quality pre-review of monthly proformas for select clients, ensuring consistency with use of task codes, spelling/grammar, etc.
- Review billing rates for accuracy by matter and coordinate any corrections/adjustments.
- Ensure all timekeepers are approved by client and billed at proper rates.
- Work with Billing Specialists on next steps and actions regarding invoice appeals and rejections.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal billing experience.
- Knowledge of 3E Billing System is preferred.
- Ability to analyze, assess possible problems, prioritize concerns and make decisions.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressured environment.
- Strong work ethic, flexible, dependable, and positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to deliver tangible results, diligent in achieving associated objectives.
