Hillsboro Animal Hospital in Nashville, TN seeks to add an additional Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to the team!

Hillsboro Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited, full-service small animal veterinary hospital that provides comprehensive medical, surgical, dental and emergency care. Located in the Music City of Nashville, TN, Hillsboro has been open since 1968. Our hospital includes a large surgery suite, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, a critical care unit, oxygen cages, pharmacy and separate dog and cat rooms. We perform soft-tissue surgeries, laser surgeries, chemotherapy, and we have a mobile orthopedic specialist who performs orthopedic procedures. We also have a Class IV therapy laser for treating patients with arthritis, pain management and post-op recovery. We have ten veterinarians on staff and over 30 healthcare members, including licensed technicians, veterinary assistants, kennel staff, and receptionists.

Our team strives to stay progressive and practice excellent medicine in a friendly environment of companion animal care and client service! Our ideal candidate has an interest in dentistry and surgery, as well as a strong desire to work in a dynamic hospital offering an opportunity for growth while practicing progressive medicine. Our team of experienced veterinarians is happy to assist while supporting and encouraging our new associates' independence.

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Tennessee.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
