The Jurisdictional Consultant II is primarily responsible to inspect, evaluate, and consult with clients at a variety of insured locations, excluding intermediate or more advanced environments (e.g. complex piping, multi-stage water treatment, sophisticated controls, fluid dynamics, and moderate commercial / industrial or high risk applications).
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will accurately collect and appraise basic information (e.g., nameplate data, construction stamps, sizing, testing, maintenance, operation and condition) of equipment installations.
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will have an understanding of, and be able to consult on, regulatory or jurisdictional requirements and FM Standards as part of the pressure equipment evaluation process. Clients will be appropriately informed of actions needed for compliance and risk reduction.
This position will reside in Oklahoma.
Candidates for this position shall have a National Board In-service commission and have or obtain state/provincial jurisdictional certificate of competency for the jurisdictions in which they will be providing Jurisdictional services.
Any additional training and experience required for obtaining certifications, commissions, or licenses will be provided. Jurisdictional Consultant II will demonstrate competence in handling field work and related administrative tasks for the most common occupancies and hazards with decreasing guidance and supervision.
The Jurisdictional Consultant II may be asked to conduct incident investigations of pressure equipment at the discretion of the Operations Chief Inspector.
The hiring range for this position is $88,400 to $110,500. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
