Slalom's Tristate Organizational Effectiveness practice sits within our Business Advisory Services sector and is dedicated to optimizing organizational structures, enhancing workforce capabilities, and enabling strategic growth to improve organizational and individual performance. We drive transformational change and deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Our team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Consultant to deliver client work and drive workstreams within strategic and transformational engagements.

Our Tristate market supports a variety of clients across New York, New Jersey, and southern Connecticut. Candidates will be expected to live within commuting distance of one of our offices in Lower Manhattan, White Plains, NY, or New Brunswick, NJ to support and be onsite with clients in any of these locations.

What You'll Do
• Understand the client's business to design effective organizational change, learning, organization design, communication, and/or talent management programs to drive business benefits
• Mentor clients, work on projects independently, participate as a team member, and/or lead teams of consultants and/or clients to successful project delivery
• Work in multiple disciplines across industries and build client knowledge and credibility quickly (projects vary in length, lasting anywhere from a few weeks to several months)
  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans, which include leadership alignment, communications, training, stakeholder engagement and measurement
  • Work with client stakeholders at all levels to identify and assess stakeholders, and determine change impacts and training needs for technology-driven and business transformations
  • Work with leaders to define new organizational structures, roles, workforce plans, and organizational frameworks to ensure delivery of the clients' vision and strategy
  • Work with leaders to define operating model frameworks, processes, decision-making, interactions, and metrics that drive business strategy and outcomes

• Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with strong agendas for large, diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Position yourself with the client as a partner and Organizational Effectiveness expert to build and maintain relationships
  • Support internal Slalom initiatives (e.g., business development, recruiting, practice development)

What You'll Bring
• 6+ years of professional consulting experience leading enterprise-level org. change, learning, org. design, and/or talent management projects
  • Ability to lead change management strategy and execution for business transformations
  • Experience leading consulting project teams and organizational effectiveness workstreams, working independently and with team members to manage schedules, time and client priorities, risks, and ensure deliverable quality
  • Experience with business process design, decision-making and client interactions that drive business strategy and outcomes
  • Ability to lead the design and facilitation of strategic planning sessions - helping align leaders around a shared mission, vision and strategy
  • Organizational design and operating model design and implementation experience is a plus

• Leadership skills including history of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth
  • Superior communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent proficiency Microsoft Office Products such as PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
  • Ability to advise clients, present yourself and your ideas confidently in a variety of settings, and be on-site with the client as needed
  • Critical thinking, situational reasoning, and practical solutioning under tight deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for this position is $131,000-203,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
