Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist product manager team(s) with the planning for, application of and reporting of quality management principles in accordance with Army regulations.
- Provide software quality assurance for authoring and synchronizing software processes, policies, and methodologies across Systems Engineering IPT and ensure compatibility with System of System level guidance.
- Support development and preparation of acquisition requirements packages (ARP) for all contract actions to include Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP).
- Provide quality assurance by reviewing technical data and logistic output in the areas of systems level operation and maintenance procedures; performance improvements criteria; tools assessments; and metrics management (Metrics Management includes Materiel Readiness, Mean Time Between Failure/Mean Time to Repair, Administrative Logistic Down Time to meet Key Performance Parameters and Key System Attributes).
- Validate the proper functionality and quality of received equipment meeting the standards outlined in the purchase request.
- Develop a task order Quality Control Plan (QCP) and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed IAW the PWS (Performance Work Statement) and task order; develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure nonrecurrence of defective services
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, mathematics, mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, computer science or related field, with at least ten (10) years of related work experience is required OR; Master's degree and seven (7) years of experience.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Direct experience in preparation, review and analysis of failure reports, verification of corrective actions; requirement validation and their translation and trace to technical requirements and test specifications; and preparation and review of detailed test plans/procedures/reports.
- Familiarity with Quality processes and procedures, the planning for, application of, and reporting of quality management principles, development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the ability to use methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, an understanding of human factors and motivation, familiarity with quality cost concepts and techniques, and the knowledge and ability to develop and administer management information systems and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
- Must have a US Government Top Secret (TS) Clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a TS Clearance.
