Job Description

As a Global Benefits Consultant, you will work closely with our Integrated & Global Solutions team and Expatriate Benefits Centers of Excellence to provide consulting services to multinational companies concerning local, regional and global expatriate employee benefits. You will coordinate and manage global benefits projects, working closely with client headquarters, local country client contacts and other WTW consultants and Expatriate Benefits COE teams around the world. You will serve as the project manager and day to day communication liaison with our clients, create client deliverables, contribute to client management and new business activities, and participate in the creation of new intellectual capital.

The Role
  • Deliver superior, consistent project management:
    • Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client and consultant teams across geographic boundaries
    • Serve as the project lead, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
    • Serve as primary, daily contact to clients located in headquarters as well as overseas offices concerning delivery of services, coordinating with WTW consultants globally
  • Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Consultants and Lead Relationship Managers
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
  • Participate in special projects including mergers and acquisitions, benefit plan strategy and design, plan management and governance strategy, and global financing and funding policies
  • Perform technical check of work products including calculations results
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches including financial analysis, benchmarking and trend forecasting, and standardization of reporting
  • Meet revenue and billable hour goals as described by manager
    • Support the generation of new business as part of the broader team
    • Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships
    • Directly contribute to clients' success through applying your technical expertise
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
  • Develop relationships with vendors in key markets for the Expatriate Center of Excellence


Qualifications

The Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience working on global benefits programs and demonstrated expertise in delivering consulting services to multinational organizations.
  • 4+ years of experience advising clients specifically on benefits strategies for globally mobile employees
  • Life and health insurance license preferred
  • Life and health underwriting experience preferred
  • Global mobility experience preferred
  • Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
  • Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
  • A professional presence with polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Enjoys training/mentoring junior staff
  • The ability to see the "big picture," leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business challenges
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, including at least intermediate level expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Availability to travel on an as needed basis
  • BA/BS degree; CEBS and/or IFEBP certification preferred but not required
  • Experience living and working overseas and foreign language skills preferred but not required

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.

This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.
