Louisville metro with a population of 1.3 million Fellowship trained stroke neurologist, to join a Neuroscience Group. The physician will participate in the multidisciplinary stroke team which includes Interventional and Vascular Neurologists, contribute to the growth of the current Joint Commission accredited Primary Stroke Center and development of a Comprehensive Stroke Center of Excellence , participate in stroke call, as well as provide education to staff and physician colleagues. This facility offers the full continuum for stroke services from the ED, 24/7 neuro-interventional services, critical care, specialized Neuroscience nursing unit, acute inpatient rehabilitation, home health, state of the art imaging technology, as well as diagnostic neuroradiologists and endovascular neurologists and neurosurgeons.
