The Fund Accounting Manager will be responsible for all accounting operations for assigned funds.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for closing and reporting to Investors on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Deal Team, Treasury, Investor Relations and Property personnel to ensure comprehensive accounting for assigned Funds.
  • Maintain and review the general ledger for multiple fund entities.
  • Monitor cash balances and review weekly and monthly bank statement reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review quarterly financial reporting packages.
  • Manage the quarterly close process including preparation and review of journal entries.
  • Prepare and review quarterly/annual financial statements, quarterly capital statements, distribution and capital call notices, and quarterly work papers for internal review and quarterly reporting support.
  • Calculate and review capital calls, distributions, and management fees.
  • Perform IRR and waterfall calculations.
  • Prepare and review all investor-level requests.
  • Be a point of contact during annual audits ensuring prompt submission of supporting documentation and respond to inquiries as needed.
  • Mentor and coach Fund accounting staff to maximize their performance and development.
  • Prepare and review ad hoc financial analysis, projects, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of fund accounting experience.
  • Experience in the financial services and/or real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Advanced excel skills required.
  • Investran experience a plus
  • Working experience in the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
