Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI, is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our team!
Aspirus Health Plan (AHP) is a provider-owned health insurance company serving members in central and northern Wisconsin, incorporated in 2016, AHP has grown to cover over 40,000 lives in commercial, Medicare advantage, and self-funded product lines. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Aspirus Health, AHP is a key strategic driver of system population health initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director - Actuarial Services, the Senior Actuarial Analyst is responsible for supporting Actuarial functions for AHP including monitoring of product results, data/trend analysis and projections, report development, rate filing review and risk adjustment optimization. This position will work with AHP's third party claims processor to ensure data validity and coordinate data submissions and will work with Aspirus Health on population health initiatives.
Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.

It is a licensed private/not-for-profit facility with 325 beds and staffed by 350 physicians in 35 specialties. Aspirus Wausau Hospital is a Level II trauma center that provides primary, secondary and tertiary care services as a regional referral center. Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, or related field required.
- Actuarial Credentials (ASA and MAAA) or nearing the completion of the ASA and MAAA are required.
- 5 years' experience in Health Actuarial Roles.
- Microsoft Power BI, Access, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Visio
- Effective in communicating data-related findings across broad audiences.
