We are seeking candidates to identify and fuse global indications and operational (I&O) warnings from all operational disciplines to draw conclusions, make inferences, and develop deep understanding,spanning tactical to strategic relevance within their assigned portfolio
Responsibilities
At a minimum, no less than eight (8) years of operational/Command and Control experience. At least five (5) years of experience working for or with Special Operations units, such as USSOCOM, USASOC, AFSOC, JSOC or other agencies. JOCA SMEs shall have at least five (5) years of experience in JOC and Command Center Operations (e.g., able to perform all JOC operational support functions that support the warfighter).At least five (5) years of experience preparing and delivering operational briefings at the Colonel to General (O-6 to O-8) level.Comprehensive knowledge of interagency concepts and principles, Department of Defense military command and control operations, geographical areas of responsibility as it pertains to Combatant Commands, air, land, and maritime combat operations at both strategic and operational levels, and Operational Reporting procedures. Proficiency in JOC operations, Command Center functions, AMHS messages, recall procedures and deployment processes.Baseline understanding of Common Operational Picture (COP) Tools to maintain continuous JOC displays and facilitate key operational meetings. Proficient in writing AMHS messages and releasing as required dealing with other Government agencies, Department of State, Combatant Commands and USSOCOM.Proficiency with standard commercial software applications and web browsers (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Mozilla Firefox, etc.)Be deployable for up to 90 days per year on a recurring basis, not to exceed 179 days in a one-year period.
