Position Summary:
The Lead Application Developer role is responsible for leading and managing a team of application developers in building scalable web solutions. This role involves working closely with other teams at MedInsight (solution architects, data-engineer team lead, security, infrastructure, product owners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders) to understand and translate requirements into functional software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee software development products while managing a team of application developers.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of new analytic and web-based applications.
- Research, design, and develop new solutions using C# and other cloud technologies.
- Maintain and extend existing web-based applications.
- Ensure the development team follows our SDLC and other best practices.
- Provide mentorship to your team, working with individuals on their goals and career development.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in application development.
- Experience and intermediate proficiency with several technologies: C#, React, ASP.NET, MVC, XML, JSON, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
- Knowledge of and experience with software architecture frameworks and design patterns.
- Experience in cloud technologies.
- Experience using big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Azure Synapse) to manage large data sets.
- Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Systems methodology experience.
- Sharp critical thinking skills, sound judgment and decision-making ability, and both the ability and willingness to clearly articulate your ideas.
- An inherent sense of the value of collaboration and the desire to mentor your team.
- The ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the client is always first.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Experience with source code management systems.
Compensation and Location:
- The salary range is $96,000 - $194,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This role can be located remotely within the US.
