How you'll make an impact:
We are looking for a full stack engineer to join the Content Management and Programming Tools team, which builds intuitive tools and services that empower users to enrich, manage, tag, and curate content and entities programmatically. Specifically, you will work directly on creating new tools for the SiriusXM platform, and create and maintain design components and UI framework that supports those efforts.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $90,000 to $140,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.

What you'll do:
- Design and write code to support highly scalable tools and services
- Create and maintain design UI frameworks and design libraries that are highly reusable
- Collaborate with product and design to define features
- Write automated unit and integration tests
- Deploy services into the various environments in the cloud
- Collaborate with other team members
What you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience developing Java services
- 2+ years of experience developing web applications
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of education and
- experience
- Ability to design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using common standards and
- frameworks
- Experience with web-based API design and development (e.g., GraphQL, REST)
- Experience with SQL databases like Postgres, and NoSQL datastores such as
- Redis
- Experience with Amazon AWS
- Experience building stream processing systems on Kafka
- Experience developing for Linux-based deployment platforms
- Experience with writing automated tests
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks, and component architecture
- Good public speaking and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to pay attention to details and be organized
- Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person
- Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles
- Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under
- shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
