About the role
- As the Social Media Manager at Vestiaire Collective, you will lead our global social media strategy to amplify our brand, engage our community, and drive organic growth across all our social media platforms. You will be responsible for creating and executing innovative social media campaigns that resonate with our audience and reinforce our position as the premier destination for pre-owned luxury fashion. This is a full-time role based out of New York reporting to the VP Brand Marketing based in London.

- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with Vestiaire Collective's brand vision and business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a dynamic social media team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the creation of compelling, on-brand content that engages and grows our social media community.
- Create (Brief, shoot, and edit) at least 4 pieces of individual content per monthCollaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, PR, and creative to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Community Engagement:
- Cultivate and nurture a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful conversations.
- Identify and build relationships with key influencers and brand advocates to amplify our reach and impact.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies and drive results.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep Vestiaire Collective at the forefront of social media innovation.
- Campaign Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of social media campaigns, from concept through to delivery, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and achieve desired outcomes.
- Coordinate with global creative & copy teams to ensure consistent messaging and campaign execution across all regions.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of leading successful organic social campaigns.
- Strong understanding of the fashion industry, particularly the luxury and pre-owned sectors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Dash&Hudson, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and community building.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
