Manager, Sales Operations
Job Summary
We areseeking a Sales Operations Manager to join us to drive MACOM's sales operationsprocesses. An ideal candidate is a quick learner who demonstrates strongleadership, independent thinking, possesses organizational expertise, is anexcellent cross-functional communicator, and has a passion for data drivensolutions & strategies.
Thisrole is instrumental in the execution of the business with deep focus on manyaspects of the operation including strong price controls, administrativecustomer engagement, backlog fulfilment, channel management, and monitoringbusiness performance.
AsSales Operations leader you will manage Sales Operations activities for adesignated set of product lines. This involves contract negotiation, quotecreation, business analysis and margin management. One of your main duties isto oversee price decisions to create product margin contribution and businessgrowth. The role is fast-paced and in close accordance with the business cycleand therefore requires individuals who are self-motivated with an analyticalmindset.
He orshe must bring a strong sense of business management and demonstrate a solidunderstanding of the semiconductor supply chain given the scope of thisbusiness. The ideal candidate must be adaptable to thrive in a dynamic businessenvironment, implementing changes in processes, policies, strategies, orobjectives as necessary. This skill requires resilience, openness to change,and the ability to influence matrixed teams.

Responsibilities:
- Be thelink between sales, product marketing, operations and supply chain teams toensure key customer accounts are served with priority.
- Troubleshoot and resolve major points of dissatisfaction or conflicts includingfinancial, operational, supply chain and other customer or channel issues.
- Lead SalesOperations for an assigned product portfolio including:
- Support all quoting activity & deal making.
- Review, plan & execute annual price negotiations with Tier 1 customers.
- Provide first line of support on commercial & operational inquiries for the regional sales and marketing teams.
- Product pricing controls, quotation support and annual account-based pricing negotiations.
- Manage allocations and discontinuation processes for the portfolio as necessary.
- Close collaboration withmain Stakeholders such as Demand Management, Sales, Finance, Operations andBusiness Owners of HPC product portfolios.
- Work closely with supplychain teams to ensure forecasts are supported and provide support on theE&O and SIOP processes to operations.
- Annual pricingagreements and contracts management including ownership for negotiating andredlining business terms and conditions for key customer contracts.
Qualifications
- Bacheloror MS in Business or Engineering required (Electrical/ComputerScience/Computer Engineering).
- 8+years in a leading in a similar role such as sales operations, distribution, salestechnology, finance, analytics or business planning role, preferably withinSemiconductor or a technology industry
- Strongbusiness acumen with ability to gather and analyze large amounts of informationquickly and problem solve effectively.
- Mustbe an excellent communicator who is organized, detail oriented, resourceful,and creative.
- Abilityto negotiate, coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams of technical,sales, commercial and operations teams.
- Aself-starter with great instincts and the ability to lead and influence others.
- Thisindividual must also be able to build relationships with key decision makersand work in a high-performance team environment.
