SMX has an opportunity for an Operations Analyst supporting a US Army Product Management Office. This position is on-site at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
The Operations Analyst should be knowledgeable and experienced in dealing with operations processes for a US Army weapon system, especially managing information and staffing. In this role, you will utilize knowledge to synchronize efforts and improve information flow among employees. Duties include conducting quality control on written and briefing documentation, documenting meetings by capturing and recording pertinent information, managing the significant action process, and facilitating upward and downward communication and integration. The ideal candidate must be proactive. The Operations Analyst will coordinate/conduct other program activities and duties as required.

The ideal candidate must be proactive. The Operations Analyst will coordinate/conduct other program activities and duties as required.
Responsibilities for the Operations Analyst include:
- Coordinate internal taskers in the E2MS TMT Tasker Management system
- Assist in horizontal and vertical stakeholder synchronization and messaging
- Review briefings, Information papers, strategy documents and external engagement plans
- Exercise quality control of the Staffing Process and Deliberate Decision-Making Process
- Assist with information exchanges with internal stakeholders; archive key data and Information, develop, coordinate, refine policies and procedures, directives instructions, and other communications for Government review; research and advise Government leads for areas of responsibility; and, within defined constraints.
- Review product office draft taskers for completeness and track and report tasker status against external suspense dates
- Assist in activities required to plan, coordinate, resource, and execute organizational events (meetings, town halls, industry days, ceremonies)
- Assist in drafting documents and making recommendations in matters related to interpretation; implementation; formulation; and evaluation of operational and administrative policies, procedures, and processes related to the overall operation and management
- Coordinate with Government employees and other Contractor personnel throughout the organization to prepare briefings, including communications with higher headquarters
Required Skills and Experience:
- Clearance Required: Secret
- Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years or more of relevant experience
- High school diploma and 12 years' experience may be substituted for degree
- Tasker Management experience
- Demonstrated success in working with information management, problem solving, and issue resolution is required
- Must have familiarity acquisition and operations
- Must have strong collaboration skills
- Must be able to telework effectively within the Redstone Arsenal, Alabama area
Desired Qualifications:
- DAU Program Management Level II
- Professional knowledge in DoDI 5000.02
- Knowledge of US Army staffing process and procedures
