The Integrated Systems Division is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Aurora, Colorado to support maintenance and development for the CEGS system, a real-time operational SIGINT processor. The CEGS applications run in a virtualized Linux infrastructure and are deployed in three different locations (the development facility, an integration and test facility, and the operational facility). Candidate must have a TS/SCI clearance and a current Polygraph (within 5 years).
Clearance Requirement:
Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and Polygraph (US Citizenship required)
Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will be a member of a team responsible for Linux system administration for CEGS at all deployed locations via remote access from our facility in Aurora, CO. The candidate will be responsible for investigation and resolution of system issues and the installation of new CEGS software baselines at all deployment locations. The program is seeking a candidate with extensive cloud and containerization experience as we move to modernize our architecture. The candidate will interface with project managers, systems engineers, software developers, and customers on a regular basis.

- Monitor a large, Operational system running on CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating Systems
- Install and configure software baselines, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, and application programming interfaces
- Deploy and maintain internal and external web servers (currently Apache web server) and ensure website availability
- Maintain, enhance, and modernize the existing CEGS architecture
- Design, architect, and implement new processes and deployment strategies
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues with systems and interfaces
- Integrate external products and applications with custom scripts and software baselines
- Ensure Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of the entire CEGS system
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires TS/SCI clearance and a current Polygraph (within 5 years)
- Expertise with Linux operating systems (RedHat / CentOS or equivalent)
- Expertise with OS patching using yum and dnf
- Advanced automated script design, coding, debugging, and maintenance skills (bash, python, perl, etc.)
- Administration of virtualized infrastructure environments (VMWare, Red Hat Virtualization, etc.)
- Experience with Agile Software Development and Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, GIT)
- Significant experience with Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with Containerization and Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Current Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certification
- LDAP installation and administration (openLDAP, RedHat IdM, etc.)
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Satellite
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc)
- NFS and autofs configuration
- Network administration
- Hardware experience (HP DL385, Nimble storage, Dell workstation, Cisco switches, etc.)
- Database installation and administration (PostgreSQL or equivalent)
- Windows Systems Administration
- ActiveMQ installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Apache httpd configuration, maintenance, and deployment
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
