About The Role
Humane is growing and looking for a HR Business Partner to join our People team. This is a new role designed to help motivate and retain phenomenal Humane talent. We're looking to bring on an innovative HR Business Partner to partner with business leaders to develop and execute People strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business as it grows. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.

What You Might Do
- Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organization on people-related matters including career mapping, succession planning, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics
- Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; oversee the career mapping and calibration process
- Provide guidance and assist in the implementation of business reorgs, workforce planning, and headcount modeling
- Design and deliver targeted solutions with a high degree of focus on scale and growth, including strategic planning, change management and team building
- Proactively assess team, manager, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions. Leverage the broader People team to develop and implement programs that foster employee engagement, D&I, and success
- Drive talent management strategies to support a team's growth and individual development plans
- Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning
- Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Recruiting, People Operations, Legal teams to implement solutions and help scale the business
- Successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
Essential Qualifications:
- 12+ years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role
- Demonstrates solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations
- Demonstrates empathy and experience driving inclusion work
- Proven project management and change management experience
- Experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment and to cultivate relationships across teams
- Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
- Consulting, coaching and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR Business Partner experience working in an engineering start-up environment
Salary Range: $195,000 - $235,000

- The salary range for this role is listed above. Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge and skills
