Pay: $75,000 - $90,000 (depending on relevant experience)
Bonus Potential: 10%

*This position will cover the Northern part of SITECH's territory: Lower New York, and the entire state of Connecticut.
SITECH Metro Northeast is part of the worldwide SITECH distribution network, which offers Trimble product and service solutions with construction technology, customized training, data solutions, installation, service, and technical support. These include 2D and 3D grade-control, paving control, site positioning, compact machine solutions, construction asset management, as well as supporting infrastructure and data prep solutions.
Responsibilities:
Provide training expertise in the areas of Heavy Civil Construction Software applications and Site Positioning Systems
Provide technical assistance for all software and site positioning products offered by SITECH.
Maximize SITECH software and site positioning equipment sales based on established targets

Responsibilities:
Provide training expertise in the areas of Heavy Civil Construction Software applications and Site Positioning Systems
- Successfully provide training and support for Trimble Software Survey products. This includes Trimble Business Center, RTK GPS and Robotic Instrumentation.
- Market, coordinate and facilitate multi-day Trimble Business Center and SCS900 classroom training sessions at various locations throughout SITECH's territory.
- Develop and communicate training calendar/schedule in a timely manner.
- Achieve and maintain factory certification as a Trimble Certified Trainer for Business Center software as well as SCS900 software.
Provide technical assistance for all software and site positioning products offered by SITECH.
- Become and remain a technical expert/resource for SITECH and its customers.
- Provide customer support on all guidance and software products, providing phone support as well as on-site troubleshooting as required.
- Provide support for in-house and field service personnel on all guidance and software products, providing phone support as well as on-site troubleshooting as required.
- Keep informed with new product updates and send relevant information to the appropriate internal and external individuals or groups.
Maximize SITECH software and site positioning equipment sales based on established targets
- Work as technical liaison to the sales force to promote sales activities and facilitate deal closings for Trimble software and site positioning systems.
- Provide one-on-one customer training sessions for Software and Site Positioning Systems upon delivery of new product to customers.
- Identify and prioritize training needs for key customer accounts and determine best delivery methods (Instructor Led, WebEx, Trimble Personnel Involved, etc.)
- Assist sales force through following up on leads for software and site positioning systems.
- Attend and actively participate in all Open House events and trade-show events throughout SITECH's territory.
- Collaborate with Cat Dealer Sales Reps to develop relationships for profitable growth.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical acumen required
- Experience with Site Positioning Systems / Trimble Software / Surveying highly preferred
- Training experience highly preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, writing, analysis, & organizational skills required
- Physical demands include walking, climbing, bending and lifting
- Proficiency in PC use, including MS Office & ability to learn new PC Applications
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel regularly (some overnight)
