The key focus for the US Onshore business is to acquire, explore and develop properties to produce natural gas, oil and NGL from underground reservoirs safely and efficiently. Key operated assets are in the Eagle Ford shale basin in South Texas. With over 2,000 well producing net 36kBOE per day.
Owning and operating producing US onshore assets is part of INEOS Energy's strategy to build a global integrated portfolio, fit for the energy transition, offering high-quality energy solutions to its customers.

Summary of Position
We are seeking a growth-mindset technology enthusiast to play a crucial role in enhancing our system and data landscape to drive transparency and efficiency in the energy industry. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document our business's technology needs and opportunities. The Sr Technology Analyst is expected to have experience with oil and gas business systems, data models, and project management. The Sr Technology Analyst will work alongside other senior staff that will fuel the individual's learning and career growth.

Compensation & Benefits
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
Compensation:
The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $123,000 - $152,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 27% of eligible pay. This role, depending on skill level and experience, may also participate in the Long-Term Incentive Plan with annual awards, vesting over three years, ranging from 8-15% of stated annual target. These ranges are estimates, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

- Effectively manage and analyze complex data sets and business processes to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for our business.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of oil and gas applications, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance performance and functionality.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to guide decision-making on new technology initiatives.
- Collaborating with end-users, business leaders, and technology teams to gather and document business requirements for enhancements and new feature implementations.
- Design business processes and high-level technology solutions in coordination with technology engineers.
- Plan for system resiliency to minimize unplanned outages and business disruption.
- Lead the planning and execution of business process and software implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and manage potential risks, issues, and dependencies associated with projects.
- Provide operational support of applications, reporting tools, data models, and system integrations.
- Educate and evangelize a data-driven culture throughout our business.
- Effectively manage full technology lifecycle for O&G counterparts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years defining software products and driving technology innovation in upstream oil and gas.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Previous experience leading technology-related projects from conception to implementation.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience modeling data to represent business entities/processes and perform efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, can convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in documentation and analysis.
- Proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.
