Praescient Analytics is seeking a talented

IT Project Manager / Scrum Master

to support the Return Review Program (RRP). RRP is a mission-critical, automated system that is part of the IRS's tax processing pipeline component which detects and selects potentially fraudulent returns to prevent/stop the issuance of invalid refunds. RRP maintains an integrated data warehouse that stores return data and taxpayer information for data mining, runtime scoring, scheme development and research. It incorporates multiple analytical techniques to detect anomalies for fraud and non-compliance, allowing RRP to improve the analytics each Filing Season to help the IRS identify increasingly sophisticated tax fraud.

Primary Responsibilities:

Active IRS MBI required to be considered. Provide Scrum Master leadership to the scrum team using Agile methodologies and scrum best practices. Coach team to enable self-organization and increased scrum maturity. Facilitate scrum ceremonies including the sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and retrospectives. Support the product owner and development team to deliver high value to the client and end users. Understand and communicate the product vision of each sprint and release. Identify and remove impediments across the cross functional team. Identify areas of growth and enable team to inspect and adapt accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

Active MBI (MUST HAVE)At least 5+ years of IT program management experienceExperience with sprint ceremoniesExperience with release planning, backlog creation and grooming.Ability to assist the teams in completing release objectives.Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels.Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)What you can expect from us
