The Functional HR Director is a critical role that will support our functional teams in support of a $6B business and ~1500 functional associates. This role is responsible for developing and executing a people strategy that aligns with the business objectives and enterprise HR strategy, and also matures our functional capabilities at scale. This role reports to the VP, HR.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand the functional priorities relative to the business strategy. Demonstrate thought leadership and ownership of the organizational and talent strategy.
Build strong relationships across the functional leadership team (and the next level down) to ensure alignment to the overall strategy.
Establish yourself as the proven coach and advisor on all matters related to talent and the business. Anticipate future capability needs and take action to build that capability across the org.
Ensure that the Functional teams have the best team and best org structure in place to support business growth and functional excellence.
Monitor key HR and operational metrics on a regular basis to understand organizational health. When needed, dig deep into the data to identify patterns and root causes to drive improvement.
Partner closely with HR Partner (Functional and field) and HR Specialist teams to ensure alignment. Inform HR Specialist partners of function-specific HR needs and provide end user feedback on central HR program and processes to help drive improvement. Advocate for enterprise HR programs and processes and drive successful execution across the functions.
Cultivate an inclusive culture that drives collaboration and accountability and reinforces our TRUSTED values.
Lead and develop a high performing HRP team by setting clear expectations, delegating effectively, and providing coaching and feedback to set everyone up for success.

Enterprise mindset with the ability to think about the Field, Functions and company at a macro level.
End to end thinker who proactively connect dots and bring key stakeholders together.
Ability and determination to successfully move multiple initiatives and get things done in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on and able to get into the details as necessary.
Ability to quickly build trust, create open channels of communication, and achieve collective buy-in.
Ability to analyze data and glean actionable insights that drive decision making.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 7+ years of experience in a related field.
Masters degree preferred.
Experience working for a growing private equity owned company preferred.
