The Partnering Physician is responsible for provision of high quality healthcare to patients by a Primary Care Team of healthcare providers comprising the Partnering Physician and up to six Advanced Practice Clinicians.The Partnering Physician will support the clinical work of the Advanced Practice Clinicians by providing consultation on individual patients they have seen (including re-interviewing and re-examining the patient when requested or deemed necessary), reviewing documentation as needed, assisting with responses to incoming messages and clinical information, and occasionally filling in for an unscheduled absence of one of the Advanced Practice Clinicians. The Physician will also see a smaller number of patients directly.The Primary Care Team is integrated with the clinic team of providers, nurses, medical assistants, and patient service representatives.Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of appropriate License or Certification, including

Washington State LicenseDrug Enforcement AdministrationNational Provider Identifier

Completion of residencyBoard Certification in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineAdvanced Cardiac Life Support certification (maintenance required)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious exposure to clinic environmentPrevious supervisory experiencePrevious teaching experienceAdditional Information
