Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive

Senior Director of Community Engagement

to lead our outreach initiatives and forge strong relationships with stakeholders across the state. This individual will play a critical role in communicating our mission, services, and programs to key community leaders, government representatives, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic connector and have a passion for advancing opportunities for adults with disabilities, while actively engaging with the community to strengthen our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Outreach:

Lead and manage ongoing outreach efforts to key stakeholders, ensuring they have critical information about the company's services, programs, and mission.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Chief Program Officer and Programs Team to facilitate stakeholder program admissions and engagement.

Advocacy:

Serve as a powerful representative of the organization at critical meetings and events throughout Maryland, ensuring our presence is impactful and aligned with organizational goals.

Data Presentation:

Present programmatic data to government representatives, business leaders, and community stakeholders to advocate for our programs and showcase the measurable impact of our work.

Relationship Development:

Build and nurture strategic relationships with businesses, government agencies, and community-based organizations to drive program success and increase visibility.

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, or advocacy roles, preferably with a focus on the disabilities community.

Leadership:

Demonstrated ability to lead high-impact outreach campaigns and initiatives at a senior level.

Communication:

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire diverse audiences.

Proactivity:

A self-starter who takes initiative and delivers high-quality results on time.

Passion:

A strong commitment to community engagement and advocacy, with the ability to connect authentically with stakeholders at all levels.
