A fast-growing startup company is seeking a

Stack Engineer

to build and drive the technical direction of its platform. The ideal candidate is experienced in both frontend and backend development and skilled in modern frameworks and programming languages. Working cross-functionally, the new team member will promote operational excellence by collaborating with various teams while contributing to the overall growth and vision of the company.

Responsibilities:Work closely with the rest of the team to design and implement our backend, frontend, and infrastructure.Collaborate with other engineers and designers to build a user-friendly and intuitive platform that meets our customers' needs.Help define and execute the technical roadmap for our platform, balancing technical debt and innovation to ensure we can deliver on our business goals.Invent, extend, and maintain development processes, tools, and workflows.

Requirements:BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with a focus on building scalable and reliable web applications, preferably at a pre-Series B startupProficiency in at least one modern frontend framework; experience with React and Next.js is preferredStrong proficiency in Python, and familiarity with at least one Python backend frameworkExperience with AWS and knowledge of AWS cost and billing is a plusExperience with SQL or NoSQL databasesExperience with Docker and container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience with and enjoys creating prototypes and experimenting quickly
