Overview

The VP of HR will lead the development and execution of the overall people strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with the business goals and strategy while also supporting both an on-shore and off-shore workforce. This role will report to the COO. You will be given authority to help shape HR policy, procedure and organizational structure during an exciting phase of growth and expansion for the company.

This role will require a minimum of 12-15 years of leadership level HR experience and a minimum of 7-10 years of people management experience . Any experience within the Financial Services industry is a plus. Experience with mid sized and growing companies is a plus.

Responsibilities Include

Building and fostering a positive work culture, driving employee engagement, staff development, coaching and trainingOverall staff retention, and directly oversee and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.Add value in terms of Corporate HR strategy and direction designed to represent the perspectives the business areas.Provide strategic counsel to the executive team on HR-related matters.Lead HR through times of growth, organizational changes, mergers, or acquisitionsDrive change management initiatives, continuous improvementFoster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Design competitive compensation and benefits packagesConduct periodic benchmarking to ensure the org remains competitive in the labor market.Oversee all HR related operations, including HRIS management, payroll administration, and budget management.Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records.Create and implement HR policies and procedures to include recruiting, performance management, training and instruction, talent development, benefit administrationOversee all HR issues related to off-shore employees

Qualifications Include

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, etc strongly preferredSHRM, PHR, SHRL, CHRM, etc. preferredMinimum of 12-15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 7-10 years in a people management roleExperience in the Financial Services industry is a plusExperience in designing and implementing HR strategies and programsExperience in managing offshore talent (Philippines)Proven experience in talent management, compensation, benefits, and employee relationsExperience working in a diverse and inclusive environment.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with Sr LeadershipProven knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office SuiteHigh level of integrity and professionalismStrong commitment to confidentiality and discretionAbility to be empathetic while keeping business priorities in mindHighly detailed and data driven decision making skillsExperience in a Waterfall or Agile environment a plus

This is a full-time permanent role offering base salary and annual bonus as well as outstanding corporate medical and retirement benefits and unlimited PTO. This position is not remote (but will have a hybrid work from home schedule 3in 2out).
