Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join their team and help shape the future of medical technology. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure and services that support the company’s innovative medical device solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, software engineering, and regulatory affairs, to ensure the seamless integration of cloud technologies with our medical products.Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Design:
Architect and implement scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure to support medical devices and digital health solutions.Data Security & Compliance:
Ensure that all cloud-based solutions meet regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and FDA standards, as well as cybersecurity best practices.Integration:
Lead the integration of cloud services with embedded systems, mobile applications, and IoT-enabled medical devices.Collaboration:
Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver cloud solutions that align with the company’s product roadmaps.Automation & Optimization:
Automate cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability.Cost Management:
Develop and maintain cost-effective cloud strategies that optimize resource allocation and usage.Performance Monitoring:
Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure.Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to negotiate contracts and services.Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.Experience:
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on medical devices, healthcare, or regulated industries.Cloud Expertise:
Proficient in AWS, Azure, or GCP with deep knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and serverless computing.Compliance Knowledge:
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA) and cloud security frameworks.Technical Skills:
Expertise in networking, cloud security, DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications are highly desired.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with IoT and medical device connectivity to cloud platforms.Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 or FHIR.Knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks for medical data analytics.
