The Post-Theatrical Creative Marketing team is responsible for creating static/print, AV, digital, & OOH (out-of-home) creative awareness marketing materials for Disney & 20th Century branded films. We’re looking for a proactive, optimistic, & self-motivated Graphic Design Intern to join the Creative Team!Gain hands-on experience in bringing creative marketing campaigns to life! If selected for this Graphic Design Internship, you will report to the Creative Director of Post-Theatrical Campaign Development and will be a vital team member of the team within Creative Marketing.What You Will Do
Assist with the graphic design and production design of Post-Theatrical creative marketing materials. Potential projects include: film key art development for physical and digital art, social posts, social covers, event materials, presentation decks.Assist with versioning/adaptations and file outputs as needed.Participate in Creative crits, presentations, brainstorms.Provide support to the Creative Directors and Art Directors on design layouts/comps as needs arise.Familiarize self with the Disney brands to ensure all designs maintain the accurate brand identities and are up to the high creative standards of The Walt Disney Company.Manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure timely delivery of assigned design projects.Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience with Adobe Suite, In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator.Thrives in fast-paced environments, works well and stays organized under pressure, and strong ability to balance multiple projects at once, pivoting and prioritizing as needed.Keen eye for design, composition/layout, typography, and detail.Strong willingness to learn, resourceful.Previous internship and/or work experience in a creative agency, in a studio, or related field.Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in file output process and organization.Education
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Looking for undergraduate Senior/recent grad preferred. Majoring in graphic design, digital design, entertainment design, advertising, or marketing.Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Be at least 18 years of age.Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.Possess unrestricted work authorization.Additional Information
The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025.Must be able to work 40 hrs per week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST onsite.Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area.Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.The pay rate for this role in California is $21.70 per hour.
