HOW AN INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Oversees employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas. Sector-level or functional role.

Required Technical Skills:

The Unified Communications Manager will serve as the senior technical advisor and manager of activities regarding network services, communications, and collaboration tool optimization policies, programs, and projects. The UC Manager will provide advice to the UC Director on network systems operations, maintenance, and improvements. The UC Manager will serve as the overall lead of all network and operations efforts performed under this contract. The UC Manager must have expertise in network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP).

Required Skills and Abilities:

The UC Manager will advise and provide oversight to the implementation of collaboration tools, communication services, and network service administration and maintaining an enterprise network infrastructure, communications, and collaboration service operations for the Department. The UC Manager will provide management of contractor teams in the execution of daily operations, testing of changes, and recommendations of improvements to network, communication, and collaboration services.

The likely salary range for this position is $140,899 - $179,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
