Data & Analytics Consultant

We're interested in individuals with skills in areas such as data analysis, business analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data governance, data management, etc.Remote work options are available for many roles.*As a Data & Analytics Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:Providing analytical guidance and support at a programmatic level including mapping and documentation of business processesCollaborating with business stakeholders to develop and maintain a deep understanding of core business platforms and processes and to identify and capture data and analytical requirements to set strategy for improvement and drive change with dataPerforming analytical, design, testing, and managerial tasks associated with the implementation of information system solutionParticipating in gathering and analysis of business and key users requirementsWorking with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate those needs into report specificationsDocumenting functional requirements, user interaction requirements, and non-functional requirementsCreating executive-level presentations and presenting complex analytical findings in a clear and concise mannerDefining specifications to support software development, quality assurance, support and learning materials, and other downstream development support processesWorking independently to manage deliverables or key components of major projects — includes defining tasks, managing the work, and being accountable for the deliverable of assigned componentsEvaluating processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing required updates/enhancementsThis job is for you if:You like helping people and don’t need to take credit for success. You can explain almost anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating in writing and meetings.You have:5+ years of experience performing progressively more complex work in business analysisResidency in Washington State or TexasRobust data and analytical skillsAbility to effectively manage analytic projects in all stages from inspiration and planning to insights and recommendations, as well as ongoing monitoring and evaluationExtensive experience with Power BI, Excel, or other reporting platformAbility to effectively present complex technical material to non-technical audiences in an approachable wayUnderstand and communicate business relevance to management/leadership teamsDemonstrated excellent written/oral communication skills, technical documentation skills, user liaison skills, and personal interaction abilitiesYou might also have:Experience working as an FTE or contractor for MicrosoftExperience utilizing various SDLC methodologies like Waterfall, Agile (JIRA, etc.)About UsAG Consulting Partners, Inc. is a Redmond-based boutique consulting firm. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.The annual salary range for this role is: 90,000 - 130,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
