Associate Digital Marketing Manager for Sun Cruiser
in
Boston, MA .
*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule.
The Associate Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's digital and social media strategy for the Sun Cruiser brand. The ideal candidate will be digital-savvy and have experience in both organic and paid social and digital media, content development, web, and measurement. They will also assist in broader communications efforts related to advertising campaign development.
What You'll Brew:
Digital Strategy
Develop the digital communications plans (owned, earned and paid) across functions, including social media, advertising, creative, and web, in partnership with external agency and internal Creative team
Manage day-to-day activities on social channels to connect with consumers, generate content, and drive positive brand sentiment while reporting on key insights and recommendations
Lead execution of organic social content strategy to bring to life our brands’ visual identity and tone of voice, as well as foster one-to-one drinker engagement
Support development of advertising campaign plans in partnership with Associate Director of Integrated Communications, agency partner, and cross-functional teams
Manage local and regional social media marketing efforts in partnership with sales force and brand team
Work with in-house Web Design and Development teams to ensure that the brands’ websites are current and optimized
Provide monthly web and social analytics with recommendations for optimization, including organic and paid social media
Provide input in development and management of annual digital/social budget planning
Content Generation and Drinker Engagement
Oversee community management efforts to engage fans and foster advocacy across brand social channels
Responsible for managing content development process with internal Creative team for digital and social channels, including advertising needs
Collaborate with Shopper Marketing and Creative teams to develop content for e-commerce, digital advertising, and website needs
Manage influencer agency in regards to influencer strategy development, influencer identification, and execution of influencer activation
Lead the administration of brand website, including working with Creative team from a design standpoint, Brand team on content, and managing in-house support
Liaise with Media and Brand teams on content and strategy for paid digital assets
Other Responsibilities
Work with cross functional Integrated Comms Leads and Digital Marketing Managers to introduce new capabilities and tools in order to raise the bar for best-in-class digital execution across the portfolio
May be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business
Ad hoc travel to support experiential, sales, marketing events periodically to amplify on social
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in social or digital media
Be a thought leader by staying ahead of trends in social media marketing, emerging media, and online communications
Extraordinary communication and copywriting skills
Experience driving concepting and development of content with in-house and agency partners
Experience working with influencers, including outreach, management and contracting
Experience with community management and driving advocacy and community growth for brands
Experience with Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, Pinterest, Google Analytics, and established social media listening tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Beverage industry or traditional CPG experience is preferred, but not necessary
Experience marketing alcoholic beverages a plus
Passion for the beer/cider/beverage industry a big plus
Experience with website management tools like Sitecore
Level: 7
In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $51,000 – $104,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
