Duties:

Job Summary: The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Material Planner will perform an array of functions that may include material planning, inventory control, data analysis and metrics reporting, procurement, and vendor engagement. Location: Hybrid - Pasadena on-site in the office, Mondays and Fridays are off-site/home Travel: up to 5% Relocation: No Can resource be outside California region? - NO Manager prefres a local to California (Hybrid)on a need basis (for meetings, luncheons etc) Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Analyze product demand and forecasts, sales orders and inventory levels, to maintain sufficient stock of raw materials and electronic hard goods. Initiate purchase requisitions and track shipments from vendors Maintain electronic files to assist in material planning to ensure readiness to build or fulfill finished goods electronic hardware Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data from ERP systems and external sources. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and report metrics related to overall operations. Track KPIs and report on Supply Chain performance through both verbal and written communication. Work closely with Order Manager to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Work closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times for raw materials and components Actively manage working and non-working inventories in multiple product lines to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets. Utilize Supply Chain tools and processes to make data-driven decisions Utilize Lean methodologies to improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory Other duties as assigned, to support supply chain procurement, assembly and order fulfillment areas.

Skills:

Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Advanced working experience in Microsoft Excel is a must Preferred Qualifications: Good written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Oracle ERP Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel in analyzing large amounts of data Must work well in an fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook
