Info Gain Consulting is seeking a skilled
Senior BI Analyst
to join our team supporting our Department of Defense (DoD) customer, contingent upon award.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have experience working with large and complex data sets, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective visualizations that provide insights and drive decision-making.
Responsibilities Include: Design and develop visually stunning, high-performance Tableau dashboards and infographics that go beyond just reporting. Partner with business stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable data solutions. Optimize new and existing Tableau dashboards for superior speed and scalability. Mine large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and outliers that fuel strategic decision-making. Mentor and share your knowledge with team members, fostering a data-driven culture. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by employing rigorous testing and validation methods. Utilize SQL and other relevant tools to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into Tableau. Provide expert insights on data visualization best practices and trends to improve the overall quality and impact of dashboards. Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen. Must have and maintain a current DoD Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science, information systems, or a related field (Master's preferred). Technical Virtuoso: Proven Tableau mastery (Desktop, Server, Prep); solid foundation in SQL and data modeling. Experience with performance optimization. Analytical Thinking: You're as comfortable asking questions as you are providing answers. Complex problems excite, not intimidate you. Data Storytelling: Your visualizations don't just inform - they persuade, resonate, and drive action. Collaborative Communication: You bridge the gap between the technical and the business worlds with ease, tailoring your message to the audience. Growth Mindset: Passionate about staying current with evolving Tableau technologies and always eager to expand your skillset. Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in business analytics, computer science, information systems, or related field. Tableau Certifications. DoD-specific domain expertise.
