Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager/Business Development Manager to lead and expand our business development efforts in the Southern Florida/Miami market. The ideal candidate will have an established network, proven track record of driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and leading a team to achieve ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the Firm’s overall objectives and drive growth while promoting a single culture.

Market Expansion:

Lead the positioning of the Firm in the market, directing appropriate promotion, marketing, and institutional relations plans.

Partnership Development:

Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.

Sales Leadership:

Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management:

Oversee key client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.

Operational Leadership:

Coordinate and monitor the operational functioning of business development.

Program & Project Development:

Develop and execute a proprietary business plan that generates high-impact new business opportunities.

Strategic Alignment:

Integrate and supervise the execution of the commercial plans.

Relationship Management:

Maintain relationships with strategic partners and clients.

Reporting:

Provide regular reports to the CEO/Regional Director on business development activities.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing business development team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in a related business development or sales leadership role.

Proven track record of driving revenue growth.

Strong leadership skills.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.

Ability to travel as needed.
