Summary of Job Description:

The Director, Facilities is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all stores in the U.S. and Canada, establishing local, regional and national services for all trades necessary for repair and maintenance and the management of the department’s Support functions. This position integrates Facilities services with other departments (IS, RD, FAST, Operations, Asset Management, Leasing, Legal, Operations Innovation). The Director develops department strategies, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Executive Director. This position implements process improvements, including new systems or system enhancements, and ensures high quality customer service.

You’ll get a chance to:

Oversee the repair and maintenance of all assigned stores in the U.S. and Canada.

Manage associated budgets effectively.

Lead a team of Facilities associates (Facilities Senior Managers, FM, and AFM).

Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by mentoring.

Build a team-based work environment.

Ensure daily work order management discipline, drive KPI and performance expectations; and coach for success and improvement.

Recruit and select staff in coordination with RD senior leaders.

Search, evaluate, negotiate, and contract with national vendors to provide preventative maintenance and needed repair services to company-owned facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Develop department strategies, policies, and procedures as well as process improvements, including new systems or system enhancements, in collaboration with other Directors, Senior Managers.

Ensure adherence to established budgets (R&M, CAP).

Manage performance of national vendors to ensure work meets quality requirements and is provided in a timely and cost effective manner.

Ensure use of the Service Channel tools and reports to manage vendor maintenance and repair costs.

Support Risk Management’s crisis management program by ensuring effective response to facility emergencies.

Ensure high quality customer service.

Work closely with Construction on developing appropriate specifications and standards for store construction, maintenance, and equipment.

Your background and experience:

Bachelor’s degree required; CRFP or equivalent certification required and maintained.

Minimum ten years of facilities management experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment with prior supervisory experience.

Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.

Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range:

M4: $161,000 - $226,000 / Annual

Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
