NAOVI is a business that combines experience, creativity, flexibility, pragmatism, and cost-effective solutions in order to deliver measurable business value to our clients.Headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia, NAOVI employs engineers, analysts, IT specialists, and other professionals who strive to be the best at everything they do.NAOVI is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.Job Description:NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following tasks:Primary responsibilities:Develops graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high-quality customer support for communication requests.Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management to ensure graphic products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.Develops design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances.Conducts technical quality checks.Manages an approved concept and builds in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps.Experience with the following:o Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia productso Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSSo Photography and video editingo Mentoring and training junior staffo Creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user-friendly experienceo Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital productso Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented onlineo Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearanceso Conducting technical quality checksRequired Education and Experience:BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required.*Candidates without the required clearance will NOT be considered for this position.*
