Software Engineer (Full-Stack)

We believe that good things happen when engineers don't just code, but also contribute their unique insights to the product process.Architecting and implementing features across the stack in TS/JS/Node is the core of what you’ll be doing. Real examples include:updating our core runtime to allow customers to create product bundle-builders in a no-code interfaceteaching a custom GPT about our internal page structure to allow it to edit page autonomouslysyncing data from custom CMS backends and making it available in the no-code dynamic data systeminterfacing with customers about bugs they encountered, fixing them and showing the customer how they can achieve what they were looking forYou'll be working very closely with other engineers, the product team, designers, and often directly with our customers, not just to ship code, but to craft solutions that are as stable as they are maintainable. Through it all, we're hoping you'll find Replo a place where you can learn, grow, and generally share the joy of building stuff together.Your day-to-day job will usually be designing and building backend code in Typescript/Javascript. Since we’re a small team, occasionally you might reach into the frontend, or another part of our system to do what needs to be done, but for the most part, you’ll be focused on the backend/systems architecture.Looking for someone who:Has had experience taking full-stack products from 0 to 1. React frontends, data-fetching and styling, node backends and application-level server code, moving fast to implement features, that kind of stuff.Has professional experience building full-stack applications in Typescript and ReactHas professional experience building and deploying scalable systems in real life (not pet projects)Has a deep understanding of CS fundamentalsHas a very product and customer focused mindsetHas substantial experience in Typescript, NodeUnderstands the value of writing clean, maintainable software, including documentationIs comfortable with ambiguity and defining software architecture patterns to solve customer pain pointsIs self-driven and can roll with the punches in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements may change frequentlyCan work fast and has a passion for iterating and getting a lot of code out the door quicklyBonus points if you:Are an ex-founder OR worked at an early-stage (Series A or earlier) startup previouslyHave not wasted hours interview-prepping on Leetcode. Implementing a B-Tree from scratch is impressive, but we’ve never had to do it in our day to day jobsHave experience with modern full-stack React frameworks like Next.js or Remix (the founder of NextJS/Vercel is one of our investors)Have an eye for visual design (or past experience in product design, Figma, etc).We believe in communicating compensation expectations clearly up-front for potential candidates. The salary range for this position is

$120-200k base salary, and we offer an equity component of compensation in addition .
