UX Designer for Crosswork Cloud SaaS

What You'll Do
This is a role within Cisco's Distributed Systems Engineering (DSE). You will work on Crosswork Cloud, a SaaS solution that provides operational insight and validation of Network Health and Security, with the agility and scale of the cloud. We are looking for an experienced UX engineer to design and bring new levels of visibility to Crosswork Cloud. Forward-thinking UX engineers are wanted to work with deeply experienced UI and back-end engineers. You will be responsible for designing and building user-facing features and for turning needs and practices into a great front end. Your output is the most visible part of the product! You will:
Partner with engineering and product teams to explore possible solutions and carry concepts from creation to execution
Manage end-to-end feature design with an ability to translate abstract ideas into viable product features
Facilitate design discussions with stakeholder team to gather feedback on opportunities to craft a more elegant design solution
Be a storyteller and communicator, use excellent interpersonal skills to help others envision and rally around your designs
Provide ongoing support to engineering teams through the development process to guarantee a high-quality implementation and user experience
Play a hands-on role facilitating workshops, sketching, prototyping solutions, and creating high-fidelity designs
Work in close collaboration with leadership team to improve design processes

Required Qualifications
A degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Experience with different techniques and methods of design, including storyboarding, sketching, system mapping, prototyping, and working with and expanding design systems
Experience using Figma or similar tools
Experience working with cross-functional teams, partners, and leadership to improve design process
A portfolio demonstrating past design work, deliverables, end-to-end process, and the impact the work had on users and business
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in designing user experiences and delivering great products
Experience with HTML, Javascript, Typescript, React, or CSS to ensure design proposals are feasible
