Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This JobAxos Bank is looking for a Vice President of Marketing Campaigns to drive always-on marketing programs for the Consumer Bank. This is a senior-level management role, dedicated to improving customer lifetime value across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, cross-sell, retention, and win-back phases. The ideal candidate has deep experience running audience-based campaigns across multiple channels, using test-and-learn and net-of-control methodologies, and has a high degree of comfort in being accountable for full-funnel results, including profitability and vintage analysis.

Reporting to the FVP, Consumer Marketing Strategy, this position will directly manage team members of varying seniority and will collaborate heavily across marketing, business, product management, martech/centers of excellence, and data analytics.

Responsibilities:

Take full, end-to-end ownership of direct marketing campaigns to support strategic initiatives and ongoing efforts across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, cross-sell, retention, and win-back lifecycle phases.

Own the always-on marketing campaign calendar to ensure products, services, and engagement communications are consistently being sent with proper frequency and audience guardrails in place.

Become a subject matter expert on all first- and third-party data sources available to marketing for research, segmentation, reporting, and analysis. Suggest new sources when applicable.

Select, monitor, and adjust key target audiences to maximize response and overall share of wallet. This includes working with supporting teams to develop and leverage machine learning and propensity modeling.

Move campaigns from initial roll-out through the test-and-learn phase and, if successful, into ongoing time-based and triggered automated communications (journeys).

Write initial and audience-specific content for owned campaigns, across channels, for clarity of message and speed to market.

Leverage full martech stack to maximize campaign reach, including email, direct mail, sms, push, banner/display, call agents (inbound and outbound), and paid media channels.

Report on response rate and economics for each campaign and keep detailed records of activities, impact, and next steps.

Identify and communicate opportunities for product and positioning adjustments to the broader marketing team, business, and product management.

Generate processes, templates (project and creative), platforms, and an organizational framework to increase speed to market while minimizing errors.

Stay abreast of competitor and industry marketing activities to drive innovation.

Directly manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals.

Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines, including Fair Lending, UDAAP, Reg Z, TISA and others.

Lead special projects and other marketing initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in a marketing role with a proven track record of developing, executing, testing, and reporting on direct marketing campaigns, plus 4+ years directly managing marketing staff.

Retail financial services industry experience, either for personal banking or small/medium enterprise (business) banking; or other regulated industry.

High degree of comfort and experience in requesting and analyzing complex data sets for the purpose of audience segmentation, campaign results reporting, and customer lifecycle/vintage KPIs.

Demonstrated self-starter with ability to manage multiple team members and complex processes.

Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work demands that have frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
