The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience collaborating with lawyers and paralegals, demonstrating a passion for the practice of law.Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of legal issues.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings.Manage and oversee paralegals and legal assistants in case preparation and file management.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.Participate in negotiation and settlement discussions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.Handle other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior attorneys.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active member in good standing of the California State Bar.2-10 years of relevant experience practicing law, preferably in litigation, corporate law, or a related field.Proven track record of hands-on experience working directly with lawyers and legal support staff.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research methods and legal software.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.Skills:Proficiency in conducting legal research and writing legal documents.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.Experience in litigation or corporate law is advantageous.Knowledge of relevant legal principles and procedures.
